September 11 Fund In response to these attacks, United Way and The New York Community Trust have established The September 11th Fund. Your contribution will be used to help respond to the immediate and longer-term needs of the victims, their families, and communities affected by the events of September 11.

American Liberty Partnership "Six Internet leaders, touching virtually all of America's online citizens, have created this place where people can support America's overwhelmed rescue and relief organizations . . ."

Helping.org "While we are all deeply saddened by the tragedy of Tuesday, September 11, you can help now by supporting the relief efforts. Relief organizations tell us that they most need cash donations to fund special resources and personnel."

New York Firefighters "This fund is the only one directly affiliated with the IAFF, the Uniformed Firefighters Association of New York, Local 94 and the New York Uniformed Fire Officer Association, Local 854."

American Red Cross - Also Blood Donation information

Salvation Army "Since a little over an hour after the terrorist attacks in both New York City and Washington, Salvation Army disaster canteens have been on the scene. In order for us to respond on behalf of the American public, it has taken the generous donations of many, many individuals, along with corporations and foundations."

America: A Tribute to Heroes "The entertainment industry has come together in an historic fashion to raise funds and raise the spirits of all who have been touched by the horrific tragedy that has struck America. All funds raised from this program will go to the September 11 Telethon Fund, administered by the United Way."
